A friend of mine by the name of Bob Carter has a really cool service called The Pod Drop. Their business is simple… If you ipod needs a repair, simply go to his site. Fill out a repair request form and bang you have a prepaid USPS shipping slip.

I have absolutely no problem recommending him and his service. A quick google search will tell you that he has been featured on IGN.com, oreillynet.com, and even in the detroit news market NBC channel 4 did an undercover investigation and found his service extremely helpful. Channel 4 liked him so much that they now have him on every time Apple releases a new product. Cool huh? I was recently talking to him about business and he said alot of iPhones are comming out of warranty and he has been getting alot of requests for iphone repair services.

He has also opened various iPod and iPhone Repair retail stores. If you live in the Metro-Detroit area and have a broken ipod or iphone I suggest poping into one of his stores and saying hi.
